Food Selection

Last night was our first night here. Keeping w tradition we went out to eat (Bubba Gumps) and then grocery shopping for the house (Walmart)
My food was amazing! I'm so happy places are now jumping on board w vegan friendly food. I have a homemade mushroom and grain burger. It was very good. I'm sure it wasn't 100% vegan but I asked for no dairy and hopefully my bread didn't have any animal product in it. I'm not a strict vegan just mostly ;)
I love this man. Is it cheesy to say he's me world? Maybe but it's true.

We went grocery shopping last night and wow. Hata difference a year makes. Last year we (3 couples) spent over $300 on groceries. Mostly junk food. None of us are living like that anymore lol.
Fruits manly veggies and nothing really to fry lol. Today (Sunday) we are celebrating my birthday!
Tuesday I'm turning 35. I'm so excited. Today my family is coming up and we are cooking. So excited!!!
Ill now enjoy my view and watch Ty and Robert make the house breakfast.

Pokey Rachel and I just did this!

Is your fridge a garden or a morgue?

Pokey and I love to grocery shop. It's what we do lol. I really love that he is cool w the fact that I'm not eating meat and don't care for it in the house. I feel it take up space and why do that when I can put veggies in its place!  First shelf: almond milk, black berries, cilantro, cherries, yogurt (his) apple sauce that my momma brought over for Angie's kids. I need to give that to her. And BEER!!! Bobby gave it to Pokey  Second shelf: Salad stuff. Spinach, spring mix, feta cheese, avocado and tomatoes  Third shelf: Green grapes, mushrooms and corn. HEB 5 for $1  Fourth shelf: Eggplant (Pokey's) red grapes, watermelon and cauliflower. Pickled jalapeño. Pokeys choice. Not mine "/   Vegetable drawer: Bell pepper, tomato, broccoli, cucumbers, poblano pepper and small red orange and yellow peppers  Counter: FRUIT!!! Bananas, pineapples, apples, pear, lemon and limes.  I LOVE COLOR!!!!

21 Day Sugar Detox

Monday after Super Bowl some friends and I started this detox. I was nervous, excited, anxious and scared. I didn't know what to expect. It went well.  I are a lot like this. No sugar meant no bread or processed foods. I lost 9lbs. It felt good. It did change my way of thinking about sweets. I don't crave them. I guess that was the point lol.  I'm glad it's over but I've been following the diet for the most part.
