Third day in Cali

Usually we don't eat out every single day. We have been eating out everyday every single day! I'm about to explode!

For lunch we ate at Tacos and Tequila. I ordered nachos w veggies all over. I'm going to have toile this at home. It was so good! Excuse the darkness. The place is dim. The vibe was cool. Had a lot of fun!!
Dinner was at a buffet. Ill be honest. I was nervous because I didn't know how I'd eat. To me buffets always seem so fattening and full of carbs. I think I did good. I kept my plate green. The Chinese broccoli was a lot greasy.
Breona Sao she wanted to eat like me. I had to remind her I don't eatery and hardly any dairy. She did good. She had a piece of chicken but everything else was green. I love this girl. I imagine this is what our daughter would look like.

Pokey and I love to grocery shop. It's what we do lol. I really love that he is cool w the fact that I'm not eating meat and don't care for it in the house. I feel it take up space and why do that when I can put veggies in its place!  First shelf: almond milk, black berries, cilantro, cherries, yogurt (his) apple sauce that my momma brought over for Angie's kids. I need to give that to her. And BEER!!! Bobby gave it to Pokey  Second shelf: Salad stuff. Spinach, spring mix, feta cheese, avocado and tomatoes  Third shelf: Green grapes, mushrooms and corn. HEB 5 for $1  Fourth shelf: Eggplant (Pokey's) red grapes, watermelon and cauliflower. Pickled jalapeño. Pokeys choice. Not mine "/   Vegetable drawer: Bell pepper, tomato, broccoli, cucumbers, poblano pepper and small red orange and yellow peppers  Counter: FRUIT!!! Bananas, pineapples, apples, pear, lemon and limes.  I LOVE COLOR!!!!

21 Day Sugar Detox

Monday after Super Bowl some friends and I started this detox. I was nervous, excited, anxious and scared. I didn't know what to expect. It went well.  I are a lot like this. No sugar meant no bread or processed foods. I lost 9lbs. It felt good. It did change my way of thinking about sweets. I don't crave them. I guess that was the point lol.  I'm glad it's over but I've been following the diet for the most part.
