Meatless Mondays: Spaghetti Squash and Beets

I'm trying y'all. I'm really not a fan of beets. I looked up a simple recipe and it said olive oil, salt and pepper. Oven at 350 for 30 min. My opinion: still taste like dirt :( they are good for you so I will continue to juice and eat them :)

I didn't even realize Pokey got a spaghetti squash yesterday. I roasted it along w yellow squash and it was delish. Roasting is so easy for me.

Side note: I start school tomorrow!!! I'm already and esthetician now I'm getting licensed to do nails. I'm excited to be done w school already "/ I'm not a fan of school. I am a fan of educating myself so I really am excited. I've never worked full time and went to school school full time. Pray for me y'all.
That's my kit!!! Shit just got real lol.

21 Day Sugar Detox

Monday after Super Bowl some friends and I started this detox. I was nervous, excited, anxious and scared. I didn't know what to expect. It went well.  I are a lot like this. No sugar meant no bread or processed foods. I lost 9lbs. It felt good. It did change my way of thinking about sweets. I don't crave them. I guess that was the point lol.  I'm glad it's over but I've been following the diet for the most part.
